USC Sumter Podcast Cover Art Design
While working at the University of South Carolina, Sumter, I was asked to design and produce a design that could be used for a podcast. I got to work right away, pulling logos, brand colors, and speaking with the school's marketing director. My prompt for the final design was to use the ant head logo, showcase the title, "Fire Ant Nation", and make the design noticeable.

My final drafts consisted of one main design with three separate background choices. The forefront design showcases the ant head and an abstracted form of sound waves. It also utilizes modern typography that states the podcast and university name.
Ultimately, the marketing director chose to use the red cover art for the Fire Ant Nation Podcast. Stating, "The red background will catch the viewer's eyes when scrolling, looking for a podcast to listen to."
