DRYPOINT ETCHING
A plastic plate carved into in order to create the desired artwork. A design which has been reversed in the planning stage will ensure a the print is orientated correctly when printing. The below plastic plate has been added to and deepened in order for the prints to come out as I intended.
Artist Prints :
The AP or artist print(s) are the first few pulls the printer makes of the design. This is when the print can be looked over and changed for the desired effect. If needed, the plastic plate can be readdressed and modified in order to get the desired print.
In the top AP I added to the fourth brick from the top. The extra lines were not intended to be included in the initial design. Below in the final prints you can see the new brick which better includes the lines from the original composition.
